At J & J Health + Wellness, we encourage everyone to find their balance. There are so many fad diets out there and although they may work temporarily, they are not LONG TERM. We teach our clients how to maintain a healthy lifestyle with REALISTIC and SUSTAINABLE habits. We believe that there is no such thing as perfect and that it is helpful to live your life using the 85/15 % rule. We encourage our clients to try to make small changes and improvements each week, these small changes lead to a lifetime of healthy skills!
We believe that managing your health comes in 3 parts; the stuff you put into your body, the physical activity you do, and the self-care you partake in. We use this model to help create a healthy balance. We strongly understand and emphasize the mind-body connection. So we also help counsel and dive deeper into what is really causing the problem.
After an initial comprehensive consultation, we create customized health programs to meet our client’s specific needs. We teach health & wellness tips and tricks, encourage proper exercise for one’s particular body type, and most importantly, go further into separating a person’s eating habits from their emotions.
